Note by Big Jim : I stayed here in a standard one bedroom cottage unit in 2004
and found the resort to be well run and the staff were friendly and helpful. I
understand the older units like the one where we stayed were destroyed by
Ivan ...
new, improved units have been rebuilt. If you are considering staying here, be
physically prepared to climb numerous steps from the restaurant and beach to
your room, or ask the desk for a ride up the hills. -

Note by Big Jim : I have stayed at this resort several times over the last 35
years. The first time was in 1969 when I first moved to Grenada, and it was then
called Holiday Inn and was very new. The last time was in 1996, so I don't think
my assessment would be very current. I am very impressed with the location on
Grand Anse Beach and the beachfront rooms in the two story buildings, as they
more reflect the ambience of the resort than the new four storey building rooms.
The food is pricey now as it was then. I think this hotel has one of the best
locations for a resort in Grenada, but it is due for a complete refurbishing - a
little worn.

12. I found the apartments and cottages to be very much improved with plenty
more luxuries and conveniences. I recommend this property because it is very
well-looked after, exceptionally well-managed, friendly staff, and offers the
kind of lodgings that are hard to find considering the beautiful setting and
beach. Lance Aux Epines Cottages are highly recommended.

This 18th century historical stone building elegantly located on the Morne
Fendue mound, display the grandeur of misty mountains, lush vegetation and
romantic hills and valleys. Its beauty is adorned with a rich array of colours
of Poinsettas, Flamboyant trees, Bougainvilleas and Palms. Located: South of
Sauteurs, on the Grenville road, St. Patrick's Parish, Grenada. They have added
a new wing of suites for accommodation, and a pavillion with dance floor and

rates are US$60, US$75, US$90/night plus tax respectively. They are serving
